The gorgeous colors come from natural dyes, extracted from plants such as marigold, cosmos flower and omusorooro-indigo. A single basket takes days to complete, using a technique that requires patience and precision. Every hand weaves differently and every straw is its own, so each basket has unique variations and quirks.
